SSAA is a wholly owned company of Swinburne University of Technology with student representation on its board. Its’ purpose is to secure the on-going provision and enhancement of quality services to students, in a transparent and cost effective way.

The Swinburne Student Union is a separate legal entity from the Swinburne University of Technology and is an independent incorporated association. The SSU is governed by a Council of elected student representatives. The SSU seeks to provide a representative voice within the University for its members.
